If you think for yourself and want to really know if there is anything to Cabalah, the Tarot, the ancient mysteries, this is the book you are looking for. To learn these concepts is to exercise the mind in ways that delight, enrich and educate yourself beyond your wildest dreams. For me, it even opened up new and richer meanings in the Bible. This is a most valuable handbook. I recommend it to everyone I know who is truly seeking higher understanding.

A great resource for budding Cabbalists!,

As a Cabalah teacher, I highly recommend this book as a fine resource and a continuously unfolding tool for understanding the ancient science. It's obvious Ms. Bernstein wants the reader to have access to the beautiful art of Cabalah and she gives generously of her great knowledge of the subject. Doreen Key Los Angeles, California

"May I commend you for your scholarly work - I am reading it and admire your research and enthusiasm, but above all, thank you for making the Cabalah so practical and accessible. May you continue from strength."Rabbi Abram I. Maron, Los Angeles

This book is a must for those people who are just beginning to study the Cabalah. The parts on the Tarot brings a better understanding of what these cards really stand for. This book also shows that we all are interrelated even though no two of us are exactly alike. Read it; you'll enjoy it!

This is one of the most mind-expanding books I have ever read, and I have recommended it to everyone I know who is interested in Cabalah, the Bible, The Tarot, and in the power of words. I studied with William Eisen, who wrote all the English Cabalah Books. It was Henrietta Bernstein's Cabalah Primer that made it easier for me to understand Bill's books. They were, by the way, good friends, and he admired her clarity of writing. It was she who recognized and clarified the connection of the English to the Hebrew Cabalah and made it plain in this wonderfully exciting book. This book is not for everyone; only those who are seeking something deeper, and are open to a new way of thinking.

not for serius readers....,

This review is from: Cabalah Primer: Introduction to English/Hebrew Cabalah (Paperback)
well... i think this book it's not for serius readers who are really interested in cabalah. What i mean is that this book plays a lot with english tarot and this kind of "magic". When i bought this book i was looking for a book entirely dedicated to jewish kabalah some stories and off course some math....Well, this book was not what i expected... if you like tarot, kind of magic maybe you will like it. Not for me. |
