I got my daughter, 8 years old, this doll for a Christmas present. She loved it!! I love that she loved it and it reminds me of the Cabbage Patch dolls I had when I grew up. They still smell like baby powder like mine did. The dolls hair is super soft, hope it stays that way. We did receive the same doll as in the picture. The only thing that I disliked about the doll, which is minor, is that it isn't quite as big as the Cabbage Patch dolls I had when I was a kid. So the clothes that I kept from my childhood aren't going to fit her doll that well. I would purchase another Cabbage Patch Doll though.
