Open the top, and a solid support hinge keeps the lid safely ajar while young ones rummage around for a favorite ‘Kid. When it’s time for cleanup, Cabbage Patch clothes or other small items tuck neatly into the sliding drawer in front. With sturdy wood construction and carved handles, the chest is solid but easy for grownups to move. We bought this toy box after purchasing the table set from this line for my daughters play room. It is was pretty simple to put together and it has a safety hinge so your little one can't close their fingers inside.
My only complaint wuld be that the drawer underneath doesnt have any type of catch or latch to stop it from being fully pulled out, so my daughter who is a toddler always pulls it all the way out trying to get her toys from inside and then can not get it back on the track to push it back in.

I bought this for my 14 month old daughter. I had intended to buy it to keep the bulk of her small toys contained; I didn't realize how much she would love it. She loves being able to take out her toys and close the lid herself. The only problem is that my carpet has a high pile, so the drawer is a little tricky to get opened. Overall, however, it is well worth the $14.95 I paid for it.

I purchased this for my 1 year old daughter, because it matched the colors in her room. It is very cute and easy to put together, but very small for the price.
