I've always loved cabbage, but until now, I've only cooked and served steamed cabbage with different meats for dinner. Ali Kinsley delivers an extremely useful cookbook, with extraordinary recipes for cabbage. The author discusses the nutritional health benefits of cabbage, varieties of cabbage, and the history of cabbage.

Ali Kinsley also highlights that cabbage is a good source of essential nutrients, contains fiber and is an excellent source of vitamin C, iron, and sulfur. In addition, cabbage is low in calories. Red cabbage contains anti-inflammatory compounds, lowers cholesterol, and also contains cancer preventive properties.

Included in this inspiring cookbook is additional information on health benefits, and info on how to prepare cabbage. The Recipes include: Breakfast; lunch; soups; salads; and dinner. What a great book! If you are like me and love cabbage then this book will make you really happy. I use cabbage in salad slaws and soups but never thought more about it then that. Ali Kinsley propose some creative recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner where cabbage really shine. I really like the first part of the book too where the author presents the different types of cabbages, the health benefits of eating cabbage, how to clean and prepare and much more. I can't wait to make the Asian cabbage salad, the tentalizing fried cabbage and the creamy brocoli and cabbage recipes. Well written book , well worth reading.

I've been studying how to add more cruciferous vegetables into my meals, and cabbage in particular. So what a pleasant surprise to see this book. What's great is that this vegetable which is usually kind of just thrown into stuff has been lifted in these recipes to become a major part of the meal.

Being a student of good health, I know how important it is to have veggies be the biggest part of a meal. I can't wait to try several of these yummy sounding veggies, especially curried cabbage. I love curry and know how healthy it is. Thanks for putting these recipes together Ali Kinsley.

I'm not a great fan of cabbage, I mostly used the white cabbage in salads and to make coleslaw but after buying the book (as the hubby loves cabbage) my mind has been changed and I now realise how versatile this vegetable is! HOw to clean and the cook the vegetable is a great part of the book too.

I always knew that cabbage was good for you, but I find it hard to come up with good recipes without being boring. This book has changed my perspective, and I love the recipes. I did not know I could prepare so many "yummy" recipes with cabbage. Great buy!
