got this game a few days ago and boy was i disappointed.i had such high expectations for this title but it just didn't deliver on any level.the graphics are very poor and the realism factor (which this game is supposed to be known for) is just terrible.it's by no means a simulator.the animals reactions are very sudden and don't seem well thought out as far as real life scenarios go and the accuracy of the firearms are not great either.the levels end far too quickly and the voice acting is very cheesy.avoid unless you are a die hard fan of the genre but even so...you have been warned !!!!!

This is a bad game, I finished the main adventure and optional adventures two days after I received the game. My first time thru the main adventure I had the 8th highest score on the Internet without even trying. The storyline is very linear and is boring. There are timed and non-timed sections but you find the animals easy. The best part is in the last adventure when you can have a .223 and you ride in a jeep shooting wolves. The first game in this series was the best.

I thought this game was going to be as good as the original Dangerous Hunts for the PS2 (which was awesome). I was wrong. The story mode is very linear and just horrible (unlike the old Dangerous Hunts where you could pick what challenge you wanted). The freakin' snakes are SO annoying, not to mention the bees/wasps/whatever. The animals are WAY too sensitive and it is too hard to track them without being noticed. It is also harder to see animals through the scope on this game, I found myself squinting until I had a headache.

In short, my advice would be to save your money, keep the PS2 hooked up and just play the older game.

If this was a $10 bargin bin game I could forgive some of its obvious problems, but this is a Cabela's game!!! A well known game, in fact. I'm not a prolific gamer by any means, however, I'm a sucker for new and interesting hunting games. I've owned many and my expectations are high, but this game failed on almost every level. For one, for a 2009 game... the graphics suuucckkk, they're just about as bad as my 2006 Cabela's trophy hunts game for the PC. I guess I could forgive that if they made the hunts even slightly realastic. Everything is either really easy and set up so there's no real challenge or there is basically no real set up and is extremely difficult (I.E. India). There are so many things wrong with this game, I would list them all, but is it really worth it? For a Cabela's game this is truly not worth your money. If you still think you want this game, buy it used.

It is the most fun the first 3 times you play it. It does get a little reduntent. You can only do so much.

This game is really fun and the graphics look really cool. It took me 4 days to finish career mode but i still have lots more to do! On Cabela games like, Dangerous hunts 2 or Big Game Hunter 2002 took me only 2 days to finish so 4 days is ok for me. I think that Dangerous Hunts 09 is the best dangerous hunts game in the series.

well this games was for my husband who is like my son, and he loves it.

Woo did you see that. this game is a dificalt chalenge and a game of skill and danger. while in this game you will come to many places with dangers animals and beast to hunt. But hunting is only half the fun you will face animals by hand to hand combat. You will also have to face chalenges such as search and resque, saving viligas and taking down monsters rampaging animals. Geting guns and upgrades the whole time. you have to get past plases such as africa, rusha, and many difrent places around the worold. Cheet codes are also a part of this game and I will give you a hint one cheat code is all nombers starting with one.
