A true to life hunting simulation would have you sit in one precise position with an almost unlimited amounts of calls, lures and other gear waiting for some unfortunate big game species to just coincidentally walk by allowing you one chance to take a shot, and if you miss, it's all over. Big Game Hunter 2005 give you the chance to explore the terrain without the worry of completely losing you target. The terrains are well done and the fact that the sunlight will reflect on your gun depending on were you are compared to the sun. The animal attacks can be pretty intense (no matter how rarely they occur) and the animals themselves can be very realistic. The game animals will usually run away to attempt an escape but will sometimes run in circles or even sit down on the run basically offering themselves to you. Other than that, very fun game and recommended to any hunting fan.

bought this game for my two grandsons who love hunting games and they loved it, in fact they fight over whose turn it is!!!I was very pleased with the graphics and the ease of the game to play. I highly recommend this game for any one who likes hunting games, it was a hit with teens, adults and children as young as five who all loved to play it.

I have several other hunting games, but this one is a stinker to figure out, I haven't seen an animal to shoot yet. I have to give it a 10 for the scenery though and the hunter and his movements.There are a lot of things to configure before you can play this game, you can't just start the game and play it. There are 3 difficultty levels to choose from, easy, medium and hard, I can't get through the easy one yet. I'm sure it will be a great game after I figure it out, but trying to do that isn't much fun.
