I like the graphics and effects, but I wish it had muliple-user options. Why not allow for big game hunts with 2-3 others or, at least, allow you to compare your medals and scores with others. Maybe have stats for various users.

husband really likes this game. he'd rather be hunting in the woods for real but this is great for an indoor activity. i would reccommend this game to hunters of all ages. it can become very addicting. but a great choice fro a gift over all.

This is a lot of fun with the Sure Shot Rifle but takes several levels in order to get to all the hunting game. The Mallards don't seem to show up to get to the next level.

Pros:
- Ease to play from the way go, very little "learning" or you do it while playing - For a Wii the graphics are pretty good and realistic - I played it without the gun and it's fun enough, gun probably would make it better, but I didn't want to spend the extra money and it was fun as it was. Cons: - Finite number of hunts, we finished the game in one day (we did play several hours). You can repeat the hunts and get better scores, it'd take a few times before it gets boring, but I'd think after 2 or 3 times you'll be done with the game. - I didn't like the hunting of the bears and cats in that most time you can't kill them with one shot and so they will jump at you then you have to "fight" manually (pressing buttons) to kick them off you and try again...that was pretty unrealistic, I figure if a bear got you on the floor...you dead :) All in all for under $15 (used) it was a good few hours of fun.

We enjoy playing the game together. Lots of fun. (Son) It's really fun. It's a challanging game. You have to find clues to where the animals are too. At the end of every level there's a predator that is trying to get you. You will enjoy it. I like the selection of different guns.

I purchased the Wii version of this game more than a month ago and I still love playing it. I have completed all twelve hunting missions. There are a couple of issues I have with it however. First,it does not allow you to access all your guns at anytime. You must chose four of them before the hunt begins and you are stuck with those unless you quit the mission and start over. Second, I wish it included more predators. For those who are having trouble killing the mountain lion in the first mission, you must fight with it as well as shoot it. When you are prompted to push a button on the screen KEEP PRESSING THAT BUTTON REPEATEDLY even when the lion is getting ready to bite you. This will throw him off you giving you a chance to shoot him. The 12 gauge kills him quickly however you will not get many trophy points for using it. I strongly recommend this game. It generates hours of family fun.

Challenging, but fun!,

I bought this game for my husband for Father's Day yesterday and he stayed up until 1:30 in the morning playing it (even though he had to be at work at 8:00 a.m.). He enjoyed the game quite a bit, but he did find it quite a challenge to kill the mountain lion, and then the bear after that. Although he had read the advice about pressing the button repeatedly to get the lion off of him, it didn't seem to work for him and he had to move to the side when the mountain lion jumped off the mountain. Then he swung around and shot him, and continued to shoot him until he was dead. This took several tries. I am not a hunter, but my husband is. He really enjoyed the game, but said it isn't quite the same as real hunting, as you have to do some things in this game that you wouldn't do in real-life hunting in order to actually kill the animals. Still, I'm glad I bought it for him, and I imagine he will continue to get a lot of enjoyment from this game as he masters ths levels.

My husband is a hunter and I go with him, but, I've never killed anything. Though, I liked this game more than he did. He thought the controllers were hard to manuver. I didn't think they were that difficult once you got used to it. I enjoyed having to pick which cover to hide in and having to sneak up to the cover. It was also kind of a learning experience for me learning about where exactly to shot the animals to more humanely kill them. It was kind of tricky the first few times trying to get past the mountain lion. You really have to pound the heck out of the controller on tbe exact buttons it tells you to and then you have to immediately find the cat, aim and shoot straight. It was fun. I also liked the little bonus challenges like shooting the ducks and foxes. The only thing that I didn't like was on the very last challenge. On the very last challenge you will have 2 cougars coming at you. I could never kill them. On that hunt it was too hard to see the cats. They will immediately come down from the hill/cliff they are on and the game won't let you aim at them until after they've jumped onto you. I mean, what hunter would not already be shooting if 2 dangerous cats where running at him or her??? Then after they have jumped onto you and you fight them off, it's nearly impossible to find them as they run behind you, in front of you, then to the side, so fast that it made it nearly impossible to take a good aim at them. We don't have the gun (I'm not sure this would make a difference) with this and it was way too hard to find the cats as they moved too fast to take aim during the last challenge. I have to agree with my husband that the controller movement is awkward during the dangerous hunts, especially on the last hunt. Overall, this is a fun game and I really enjoyed it, though the dangerous hunt controller movements might be awkward or hard for some.

This game was great! We play it with my nephews and the game we had before was dangerous hunts. This is much more laid back and easier for them to handle.
