Cabela's Grand Slam Hunting: North American 29 delivers the hunter's dream of capturing the coveted Grand Slam trophy and racking up a full wall of all the big game on the continent. You'll journey across North America to 8 unique regions from the Yukon to West Virginia and from Northern Canada to Arizona in pursuit of 29 big-game animals including whitetail deer, Alaska-Yukon moose, black bears, bighorn sheep, barren ground caribou, American bison, desert mule deer and Columbia black-tailed deer.
Grand Slam Hunting is a hunting simulation of the actual Safari Club International tournament. There are currently 13 different real-life Grand Slam tournaments. Hunters can spend a lifetime trying to complete just one; many require travel across the globe and to remote regions. In this first installment of the series, North American 29, you must harvest 29 different big game animals found in eight regions across North America to obtain the coveted Grand Slam trophy.
To get the job done, you'll need to make the most of a full line of authentic Cabela's equipment like calls, lures, binoculars, range-finders, tree stands, and a GPS -- not to mention a complete line of arms including rifles, bows, and a shotgun. Navigate the enormous maps by truck, ATV, snowmobile, or boat. Ultra-realistic 3-D animations and graphics, actual animal sounds, true-to-life animal behavior and incredible weather effects will immerse you in over 72 square miles of 3-D hunting terrain.
Use the Custom Map Editor to create your own hunting maps that you can also trade with friends. As you harvest trophy after trophy, you compete with other hunters around the world to post the best scores on the Cabela's Games website, an internet home dedicated to Cabela's hunters.
