4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Hunting Game
This is a terrific game! However there are just a few small problems. I'll start with the good news. This is the best hunting game i've played and I've played a lot. The graphics of the animals are very nice. There are so many kinds of animals to hunt like bison, deer, bear, moose, goat, sheep, etc. It is very realistic, like if you don't drink water from your canteen...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for Windows XP...
My daughter loves this game, but Windows XP does not. Buy a newer version if you are running NT, 2000, or XP.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Hunting Game, August 14, 2001

This is a terrific game! However there are just a few small problems. I'll start with the good news. This is the best hunting game i've played and I've played a lot. The graphics of the animals are very nice. There are so many kinds of animals to hunt like bison, deer, bear, moose, goat, sheep, etc. It is very realistic, like if you don't drink water from your canteen your health can go down. You can sleep out in a tent. There is a truck, atv, boat and a snow ski you can drive around in. There are about seven guns you can choose from and two bows. There are a few tiny problems like the footsteps always sound the same, and the trees look kinda fake but hey it's just a game. I highly recomend this game to anyone who likes to play great games. You won't be disapointed.

I sit for hours playing this game. It is as real as it could be. It's one way to stay out of the cold but feel like you are there. My whole family enjoys it and we play it hours on end. One of the best products I've seen.

This a good hunting game for the price, I also have Deer Hunter 4 & Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 3, Those games give you a greater choice of firearms & scopes, Grandslam Hunting gives you a greater choice of animals to hunt, This game would be great if they gave u more guns & scopes to choose from. overall i recommend this game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Hunting Game made, May 20, 2001

This is by far the best hunting game ever created. It has enormous maps and a wide variety of animals. There are 8 regions that are each 9 square miles and 29 species altogether with many non-game animals like squirrels and raccons. The graphics are perfect except that the ground has 1 repeated pattern and the trees are flat until approached. The sound's only flaw is that the footsteps never differ in sound. Also, being able to post scores at cabelasgames.com is awesome to see how you rate in the world. If you enjoy hunting then this is a must buy.

I don't usually play video games but this is awesome. This game combines the hunting that all outdoorsman love with action that gamers look for. It is very realistic and the closest I get to hunting when I can't be out there. One thing that's better with the Big Game Hunter series is a wider variety of equipment such as lighters and flashlights that makes a more realistic game. Other than that this game is the best and I encourage you to buy this if you're even considering buying a hunting game. This game is the way to go.

This game is alot better B.G.H 3 because its a 3d third person mode game. The only thing you cant find are cheat codes for it wich makes it a challenging game. That is why I rated it with five stars and because it makes you think.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Game Rocks, November 25, 2001

Grand Slam Hunting is an awesome game. The variety of animals to hunt is great. You can hunt many kinds of deer, bear, sheep, goat, elk, moose, and even bison and muskox! The high score list for the animals you shoot are awesome too. My brother and I compete to see who can get the highest score for one species of animal. I have already gotten the grand slam and I'm about ready to do it again. This game is a challenge and tons of fun. If I had a choice of one hunting game, I would choose this. Absolutely awesome!!!!

If you are going to buy a hunting game you will definately want to buy this one. I have played several hunting games and this one blows them all out of the water. This game can keep you intertained for hours upon hours, so beware.
