This game is TERRIBLE compared to the other Cabela's games. It is impossible to fish, and the hunting is too restricted to really have fun. The only good thing about this game is the graphics (which are actually decent). Unless you want a game that is so frustratingly irritating, do not buy this game.

Here are the main negitives of the game:

-The fishing is impossible, especially when you are looking for a specific weight (every fish you get is "too small".
-Hunting is too overly-controlled.
-There's no uniqueness about this game.

If you want a good game, buy Legendary Hunts or African Safari. Both of them are pretty good games, with exciting adventures and easy to understand instructions.

Cabelas outdoor adventures...remeber yhe first Caelas, how lame and boring it was? Well im proud to say that this is the BEST hunting game i have ever played.Although i will tell you some minor and major problems with this game

Fishing:10 times better and now from a boat you can fish.but,you can no longer do it for fun you have to do it. and late in the game fishing is extremley challenging.

Bird Hunting:50 times better from "Alaskan Adventures bird hunting".No problems with bird hunting in this game but you only get to do it once or twice a region and the bad thing about that is,well,ITS EXREMLY ADDICTING!!

Big game, Small game hunts:This is where cabelas improved the most.When animal is killed the animas reacts very realisticly.Easy one shot kills, but can also be easy to scare the monster buck off.And this is the only hunting game iv seen with VITALS,ITS AMAZING!!Hit the liver or heart and youve got yourself a one shot kill.

turkey hunting:Its Ok,the turkeys never seem very big but it is exciting for the first turkey-hunting feature for cabelas.

Ok guys thats about it.I Suggest buying this game,Definetly worth
$20. I could just tell from playing the very first outdoor adventures that they would came a very long way.

fun game relistic grafics the hunting can be challenging but it's not imposible the fishing can be very fun if you point your boat 20 yards from a hot spot you can catch a fish in less that a minute the only thing bad about this game is that if you buy it at the actuall cabelas store it's 10.00$ instead of amazon's 20.00$ great game buy it play it you'll love it.

This game is sooo much fun! The graphics are great and the hunting is just like real. I do have to admit the fishing is challenging but still great fun. I reccomend this game to any age that enjoys outdoor games.

Bought this product for my Grandson's Christmas. He loves all of Cabela's games. product was as advertised and securly packaged

My husband and I purchased this game after playing Cabela's Legendary Adventures and Dangerous Hunts 2009. Both of those games are way better than this one. We found this game to be very tedious and the directions too sparse. It took us quite a while to figure out what to do in some places so that we could advance. The fising is the worst. We spent about two hours trying to get through one timed fishing challenge. We kept getting the wrong species, fish too small, etc... The controls are also harder to use than the other Cabela's games. The hunting parts are OK when you get to them, but the fishing challenges pretty much ruined it for us.

Overall, this game is more frustrating than fun in my opinion.

When purchashing this game, it lead me to believe this was a new version for 2010--This was a Christmas gift for our children and I would have assumed by the title this was in fact a new game that they did not have? But not true, it was the same as one we had already purchased back in 2009, so the game was exactly the same....dissapointing and misleading--should have done deeper research, rather than assuming by the "title", which by the way, 2010 is not on the actual cover of this game....I will know better before making another purchase!
