An incredibly energetic band, Bersuit is a group that anyone with a remote interest in alternative forms of rock in Spanish should check out. They don't sound like anyone else, and don't reflect that sort of generic, out-of-date sound that I personally think many latin rock bands possess; to the gringo ear at least. Besides their bizarre and energetic sound, Bersuit is very politically charged. All of this energy is captured in the live shows presented on this CD. Check it out.

We were on a trip throu south America down from Venezuela ,Brasil,Chile, Bolivia ,Chile and enter Argentinia via
Bariloge and went to a misik store and told the guy to show us
some real argentinia rock musik . Within the first sound we know
, that we found somthing great . From that time it's the most played cd on our 4x4 trip further on .

Al haber visto a Bersuit en directo, me parece que este disco no representa exactamente lo que son los conciertos de esta banda argentina. Al esuchar este disco, no he sentido la energia con la que la banda se entrega en los conciertos. He escuchado discosen directo de otras bandas donde uno se transporta al concierto. Con este disco no pasa eso. En cuanto a sonido, me parece que el volumen del publico aveces esta demasiado alto, quitandole notoriedad a la instrumentacion y los arreglos de las canciones que tienen muy bien trabajadas. Talvez el disco merece 4 estrellas en su totalidad, pero le doy solo tres porque la cancion que mas esperaba escuchar en directo (senor cobranza) me la arruinaron dejando que sea el publico quien la cante. Yo compre el disco para escuchara la banda en directo, no para escuchar a a miles de fans gritando y cantando.

Bersuit is.. what can you say? It defies definition or explanation. If you don't know anything about Argentine society or politics, you probably won't get alot of the references, but you will enjoy the music regardless. Get this now! And start reading up on your contemp Argentine history!

Bersuit makes a mix of rythms and lirics that are quite original and creative. Its music is rock and it is also tropical rythms, some tango, and even a bit of cuarteto and samba. Undoubtedly a band that follows the long lasting Argentinean rock tradition.

Additionally, Bersuit does not have problems to bluntly denounce the corruption of Latin American politicians. "El tiempo no para" and "Señor Cobranza" are master pieces of that attitude. Thanks bersuit, eres lo maximo.
