This review is from: Cabin Max Backpack Flight Approved Carry On Bag massive 44 litre travel luggage ! (Misc.)
This bag is just what it promises to be. Even though it is shipped from the UK it arrived earlier than promised. The shape and dimensions are acceptable on every airline in the US, however there are some aircraft whose overhead bin is too small for it. I found it easy to pack and easy to carry. It is easy to build a monster sized bag and put wheels on it. But this maker has found a way to maximize the cargo to carrier ratio. Plus there is the satisfaction of beating the greedy airlines out of checked bag fees.

We purchased this one and the smaller 15" Cabin Max Backpack. Both are great bags. This larger one is cool in that the zippers go around 3 sides of the bag, so when you are putting your cloths in, the top of the bag is off to the side out of the way. A very nice feature as the smaller 15" bag does not have that. So easy to pack your stuff and the bag holds a ton. We also bought one of those hand held luggage scales as the bag will hold more than some airlines allow for carry on. We are very happy with the backpack. It has some padding on the straps but the bag is very lightweight. After a 2 week trip with lots of moving between towns, the bag still looks like new. Just know that it takes a long time (6 weeks for us) for the bag to arrive.

On the plus side, it's very lightweight and cheap. Downside is the same. As I packed for a 2-week trip and noticed the seams looked dodgy, I began to suspect this was a one-trip bag. This was confirmed when one of the buckles for the straps was broken during baggage handling on return flight. Good for a few weekend trips, but don't expect anything durable.

Just used this bag for the 1st time on a RyanAir trip from Frankfurt to London. I succesfully fit 2 pairs of shoes + 4 outfits, toiletries, and blowdryer/curling iron with no problem! The straps on the side that you can tighten are the key to making it all compact enough to fit the airline's size requirements. All the while, your hands are free to move around the airport and public transportation upon arrival. Overall, very pleased!

Perfect for those Budget European Airlines,

Many of the carry-on bags marketed in the US are technically a little too big to be legal on most European carriers. This backpack is sized to meet Ryanair's maximum legal carry-on size, and should fit in any sizer. (Be careful, though; you can pack so much into this bag, you can easily exceed those budget carriers' weight allowances!) The construction quality appears to be good, and the large front pocket has plenty of organizer pockets for cell phones, pens, chargers, and other small sundries. I do wish the bag had at least one side handle, the ability to attach a shoulder strap, a hip belt, and the ability to tuck the backpack straps away for protection - but those features would no doubt double the price (not to mention the weight!). If you fly European budget airlines a lot, this is a carry-on you'll appreciate.
