Ralph, you outdid yourself on this book. It is fantastic! Loved all the homes shown. Beautiful photography (as usual), rustic quaint cabins tucked in the woods and on the water. Great inspiration for any who long to own a cabin, are in process of building one, want great decorating and building ideas -these homes are amazing! Gorgous book- on my top favorites list of Ralphs books!!! Buy one for your coffeetable- you won't be able to put this one down.

This is an incredible book! The pictures are wonderful and the rooms presented have very usable ideas that could be implemented in your own cottage, lodge, etc.. 'Cabins' is oversized and would look great on a coffee table, but make no mistake, this is not just another pretty book. The decorating is down to earth but sparks the imagination. We spent an hour enjoying this wonderful collection of to-die-for log and rustic homes the day it was delivered. We will spend countless hours for years to come referring to this book for inspiration and ideas. Thank you Ralph Kyloe for another fabulous book!

This book is beautiful. For one who loves the old camps of the Adirondacks, this is a great book to sit down and read to get an Adirondack fix. This is for a gift, but I'm enjoying it until I give it away! Great purchase.

This certainly is a beautiful book. The cabins are exceptional. For me, that was the problem. I, personally,can not relate to it. I don't think that a cabin is really a cabin when it becomes purely a luxury retreat. Now, it may sound like I have a negative attitude towards comfort and beauty, and that's not the point at all. I love beautiful furnishings, textiles, and modern conveniences,but to me, these cabins lack a certain amount of coziness and warmth that i aspire to see in a book of this subject. I have the Log Home Book by this same author and I linger over the photos, as they are more what I think a cabin should be,not quite so lavish. That being said, diversity is what makes the world go around.Some will find this the most beautiful book on cabins that is on the book shelves at this time, and as i said before,it is a very beautiful book on very "high end" cabins.
