Duane Swierczynski is the author of several crime thrillers, including SEVERANCE PACKAGE (St. Martin's Press), which has been optioned by Lionsgate films. He also writes the X-Men spinoff CABLE for Marvel Comics as well as IMMORTAL IRON FIST. He lives in Philadelphia with his wife and children.

No slight to Fabian Nicieza, but Duane Swierczynski gets Cable. And Cable vol. 3: Stranded shows again why Cable needs someone his opposite, as the reluctant Mutant Messiah is. The girl, Hope gets why she is staying alive, but all that changes when she becomes a teenager. And a boy. And what we get here is not you're typical boy-meets-girl-romance. But it works. And Cables quest for keeping her alive, even with a surprise visit from a nasty aliens, is the driving force of the book.
Action? Check Romance? Check Suspence? Check Aliens? Check Mutants? Check The Ever Present Enemy only a knifes egde away? Check True beliver, this one has it all.
