They hold on great and hold cables great too! I just stick them down behind the desk (stick them from UNDERNEATH so the don't show!) and put the cables in. I have one on my desk and am moving soon can't wait to buy more! They hold 4 cables in each one. They are great if you always unplug cables from cameras, ipods, phones, etc. specially those many many USB cables. I suggest this for anyone wanting more organization on their desks!

Keeps cables from slipping off desks,

I've been using these for almost two years. They're great for keeping cables from slipping off the back of a desk when the cables are disconnected. If you don't need all five holes, you can use scissors to cut the Keep-a-Cable to size and use the remaining slots elsewhere. I've given several of these away to family and friends.
Some pictures I've seen show them stuck to the surface of a desk, but where possible I stick mine under the lip of the desk with the holes peeking out which does a good job of hiding it. Also, the Cool Tools website has a good review for these; you'll have to Google it because Amazon removes links in reviews.

There was a pubic hair in the packaging. Make your own with a hole punch and scissors.
