Insight recently upgraded their services and with the upgrade a small mini-box is required for all TVs not hooked up to their DVR boxes... my bedroom TV is a small 19" LCD wall-mounted TV, the mini box is literally 6-8 inches from the TV's inputs, because of this I did not need nor want a long cable. This works perfectly and I don't have to zip-tie a bunch of unnecessary cable. The shielding on the cable seems pretty thin, but I haven't noticed any problems/interference due to this. Great for my set-up, could also see it useful for racks.

I bought two of these to hook my TV tuner cards to a powered antenna splitter (2-Port Bi-Directional Cable TV HDTV Amplifier Splitter Signal Booster with Passive Return Path).

There was no change in signal quality compared to standard coax cables, they are very flexible, and the thumbscrews are very easy to operate. There's no clearance issues using two of these in side-by-side expansion slots.

My only caution is that they are very short, so make sure you consider how much length you will need for device access (e.g. sliding out of a cabinet with no rear access).
