I had never terminated cables before I received this tool, but now I have a few under my belt, and they are all working great. Great, easy to use tool. It could use some instructions... but there are plenty of online videos and tutorials to view.

I purchased this to only do a handful of crimps in my home. I found the jacket cutter on the tool to be surprisingly good, it didn't nick the interior wires. The crimp portion left a little to be desired, but that could have been the ends I was using. For the money I don't think it is quite fair to compare this to a high quality ratcheting tool.

If you would be planning to do lots of crimping spend a little more and pick up a more robust tool. If you only need to do a handful of connections and can deal with the minor imperfections - it is a good value for the money

I am that guy that everyone comes to to hook them up with some internet cables. Well, after borrowing a tool for a few months I decided to buy one and got this one. It does what it is supposed to do. It strips the cable just right and crimps like the rest of them. The only con to this is that they do not stay closed. There is a tension spring that keeps them open but it isn't a big deal at all. I recommend this for some one that just needs it for those every now and again jobs.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the quality of these crimpers. They certainly lack some of the features that more expensive ones have but I enjoy the minimalistic look-and-feel of these. The razor blade is sharp, they feel good in the hand, and they do their job well.

Handy tool to have around for any IT or communications work. Wish it came with wire diagram instructions. I had to locate the wire sequence on the internet. Would be very useful to include them in or on the product packaging.
