This cable is thicker, sturdier and better made than the typical generic cable, plus white is a superior color.

and they work fine.

I would buy this again.

Update: Still work fine a year later.

I have two, each one runs to a Sony CFDG700CP CD Boombox Radio Cassette Recorder , so each boombox is left or right channel.

I run the boomboxes like powered speakers, they are connected to a mac mini. The mac mini output has a mini to rca cable in the headphone jack, and each rca end has a plug which converts a female rca to two female rcas. each one of those two rcas is attached to one of these cables/

and that is how you use two boomboxes like powered let and right speakers.

Hopefully all that helps someone out there.

I wish that product descriptions for cables would routinely note wire gauge. These are decently well made, but I am connecting them to a pair of active monitor speakers that are very revealing of noise along the signal path. The 26 gauge wire and overall construction is less robust than I had hoped it would be. Amazon was generous in offering a full refund.

Tested this cable out on my ipod and laptop hooked up to my 5.1 surround system. There was no humming sound from either device. I have no complaints about the product. Works as advertised.

I occasionally plug in my non-i-pod MP3 player into the RCA auxiliary jacks on my A/V receiver. The thicker, expensive cables I had been using suddenly failed. From what I can tell, the connection went bad at the mini-pin end. Not wanting to spend a lot of money this time around I found these at Amazon. What can I say. They are a bit on the thin size, but even at the 12 length work just fine at a bargain price. No complaints so far.

I bought this to plug my computer audio into my television. EXTREMELY satisfied with the products. Nice long cord enables me to have my computer in multiple places. Plugs right into my headphone port. Definitely would recommend!

i love it. good solid conection to amp i use it for my laptop (that why i need 12 feet)it sound nice no quality lost. i use it for producing and listening to music.

These cables are excellent. I was looking for a cable long enough to connect my computer to the home theater.Apparently Belkin and Monster do not make cables this long so I took a chance with these and I am really pleased.
The color is white, which would be my only complaint. However it does not look like a cheap cable from the dollar store. The connections are NOT gold pleated but you cannot tell the difference. The sound quality is excellent. I have tried these cables with my computer and my iPod and it works just fine.

I love using this to hook the mp3 player to my stereo. The cords long enough that I can sit almost anywhere and have control.

I went to several stores that did not have this cable. So glad I found it at amazon.
