Make sure you understand this is one speaker cable! Unless you are ordering for just center channel you need to order multiple. The banana connections are good and the insulation seems good.

I bought these speaker cables because they already have banana plugs at each end. Cable is nice and thick, seems to be built very well. Color is dark blue, looks black in a dark room. I have all my front speakers connected with these cables and my system sounds great. I also like the look, very pro without the expensive price tag.

Nice cable, build quality and a handsome one, at that. I did have a problem connecting it to my receiver, they don't make a tight fit, but I don't know i fit was the cable itself or my receiver. A good product nonetheless.

The gauge is great, however I was dissapointed about the banana plugs. Most bananas fit tightly into the reciever/speakers, these do not! They metal is just a straight plug nothing really to keep them from falling out.

I purchased one(20 feet) over a month ago and could not be more pleased. I also run Polk monitor 70's like Joe C, and run my cable from a Pioneer. I must say that you could not get anything more easy to use. Literally plug and play. The cables already come with banana ends, and fit snugly into the end of the receiver and the speakers quite easily. I will buy these again, now if they would just do some around 50 feet, I would take two to go! For outstanding sound, you just can't beat the price!!!! I am no audiophile, but this cable is easy to use, and makes everything coming out of the sound system easy on the ears!

Some people have noted that the banana plugs are too small - in my experience, they fit just fine. I am using the cables with my Denon receiver and Polk 70 series floor standing speakers - the sound quality is exquisite and the price is right!

Cables were too thick and did not connect tightly to components or speakers. At times, would come loose from speaker binding posts.

Save yourself some grief. Buy decent speaker cable and connectors and put them together yourself.

I wanted a pair of speaker cables that would stand up to the bending and turning around my furniture without becoming brittle and subject to cracking. I saw a picture of these on Amazon.com and thought I'd take the chance on buying them. Well, as they say, "The rest is history!" I truly love these cables. They are just a very good fit for my system! What I like about them is how heavy they are and the feel like a 'Cable'! Not like some wire that you usually get to hook up your speakers to an amp! I did some whittling and got them to fit my system! No problem! If you are looking for a good cable and not wire, this is it! I am satisfied!!!

I'm very impressed with these cables, they are very well made. I was mostly worried with making my own cables because I never felt like the banana made a good connection with the copper cables (24k Gold Connector Banana Plugs, Open Screw Type 24 Pack (12 Red, 12 Black)). Usually if you make your own and you tug very hard, the cable will lose its grip on the banana plug and come undone (most of the videos I've seen want you to fan out the copper cable across the contacts of the banana plug, but if you tug hard here it will come undone). So after doing quite a bit of research for cable gauge and plugs I ended up buying these cables. The price worked out to being only a few dollars more and I must say, the shielding on these cables has a nice feel, a nice dark blue (almost black in the dark) color and feel very substantial.

If you're worried about making your own banana plugs these are well worth the cost.

I installed these cables on my Marantz A/V receiver and F-10 Klipsh speakers and voila! perfect fit. I did not encounter any loose fit connection problems like others have described.
