Just replaced the cat-5 in my house with cat-6, and wanted some new patch cables to run to my equipment.

These are well constructed, and unlike some of the snagless ones I use in my job (network engineer), these are easy to remove... Nothing irritates me more than cables that don't' let you depress the tab easily to remove them from the jack... These don't bind at all. Nice vibrant color as well. Everything is running at a good speed now, no complaints about these.

Those of you trying to figure out the difference between Cat5, Cat5e, and Cat6, it is speed. I would highly suggest Cat6 because it is faster than you need for several years to come as Internet speeds are on the rise. This cable connects very snug which is good ( some don't ) and the cable is built well but is still bendable to make any sharp turns. It's orange so that makes it faster ( just kidding ) but it helps you find what is connected to what by having different colors and the price makes this a steal.

I got several of these. The price was right and they work perfectly. How much can you say about a cable? It works perfectly...get it.

I've hooked up many, many Ethernet cables over the years, but none as well-constructed as these. Instead of the cheap, poorly made (and often assembled in-house) cables I've handled at every company where I've ever worked, they should be using these. I bought one, then after using it, immediately replaced all the cables in my home network with these cables. I don't expect to ever have cable problems again. They're that good.
