This product works just as good an any other rosin core solder that I have used over the past 20 years, and contains no lead (still make sure you have adequate ventilation). It does not leave the tips of my soldering irons charred. I can highly recommend this product for all electronics professionals and enthusiasts.

I use this to tin wires and solder compoents on circuit boards, I recommend this product to any one that repairs circuit boards at a compoent level.

I've been using this solder on a few electronics projects now and have no complaints. Whether you're soldering through-hole or smd - this stuff does a terrific job and it's lead free! You will need to increase the temperature of your iron a bit higher with this though.

There's not much to review about metal wire ... it's melty? It does the job fine, and I got way more solder than I needed (assembling an Arduino Protoshield kit). The fact that it's lead free is nice though.
