Velocity Component Video Interconnect from Impact Acoustics offer high-quality vivid detail and color for today''s video and home theater applications. This cost-effective performance cable gives you maximum picture quality compared to ordinary composite or s-video cables. Component Video Interconnect connects video equipment with component video output jacks to televisions, projectors with component video input jacks. By using Component Video Cable, you bypass the TV''s Y/C separator and Color Decoder, routing the color (Y Pr Pb ) information directly into the TV''s matrix decoder. By sending the pure DVD component video signal directly to a component video input-equipped display device, the DVD signal forgoes the extra processing that normally would degrade the image. The result is a vastly increased image quality, with incredibly lifelike colors and crisp detail.

HiI recently purchased 2 sets of these 1.5 ft Component Cables. For years I too was, (as many) having to deal with a big coil of cable to hide behind components. These Velocity beauties at 18" do away with that tangled mess and allow for a very nice installation. I am very pleased with the signal quality I am receiving from these Cables To Go Velocity Component cables. Just Be sure that 18 inches is long enough for your install and you will be very pleased on both the viewing of the quality picture and the neat installation these short cables provide. The connections ends are an easy slip and certainly not too tight a fit on the equipment jacks. Years ago I had a disastrous result from a (big name) HIGH Priced Cable that was wrongly too tight and upon removal of the cables one day it destroyed the equipment jacks on my HDTV, yeouch! even with the obligatory twisting when removing. BTW it was an installer of a dish and not me! This will not happen with these very reasonably priced "Just Right" cables. Very Pleased, Very Nice!! I am sure you will agree!

These are well-built, quality component cables. Nice snug fit on both ends, and thick outer covering, yet flexible too. I bought the 1.5' length, and it "just" reaches the jacks on the rear of my components (stacked on top of each other). If you have a longer reach, then buy a longer set. 1.5 feet is really not that long for these component cables, once they are plugged in, as I found out. But they did reach, and the rear of the cabinet is cleaner for sure, with no excess cable lying around. Blue color is nice too, as they stand out from all the Black cables, making it easier to differentiate between all the cables.
