They work as advertised and then some! After plugging these into my computer and linking the xbox 360 up I transcended mortal consciousness and became one with the cosmos. Thankfully the power went out and I was freed from the rapture!

I picked this up because I wanted to connect my XBox 360 to my LCD monitor via a VGA cable, and I wanted to connect the Xbox to my speakers through my soundcard's line-in (a common way to do things). I also wanted stereo sound. A previous cable I bought looked exactly the same as this one *except* that it combined the left and right channels into one.

This Y-cable, on the other hand, *definitely* keeps the left and right audio channels separate (and everything sounds great). I'm pretty happy with it.

One day, I decided to make an adapter to connect my headset to my TV. My friend had given me a list of what I needed, and I set off on my journey for parts. I came across this after a few minutes of searching, and after looking at some of the other options, I went with this. Even though I chose the free shipping option, I recieved this a few days earlier than expected, in excellent condition.
I've been using this for about a month and a half now, and it hasn't failed my yet. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that needs this. I happily would have payed a bit more for it, it was that good. Definitely a must-have.

It is the cable I am looking for,it works.My LG Tv only has one stereo outlet,I use this spliter to hook up to my old sound system.

This cable is perfect for connecting portable media players to an audio system. This is a good quality cable with lightly gold plated ends, it is better than the cheap cables packaged with some electronics. For the price, under four dollars, this is a real bargain.

This comes in handy when hooking up an iDevice to an older audio system, like a surround or stereo receiver. You use a standard audio cable (male on both ends) and plug that into any input on the receiver (any input will work except Phono). A lot of receivers do not have 3.5mm inputs. Turn the volume up fairly high on the iDevice, and then control the volume on the receiver.

This isn't an audiophile cable, but for what it does, expensive cables are probably a waste of money. The headphone jack amplifier on these iDevices is not exactly high quality to begin with (to output higher quality music, the digital output is the only way to go).

I like this cable a lot. The jack insulation is just the right size that I can leave protective cases on my iPhone, iPod, and iPad (some jacks are really fat and I have to remove the case). The pigtail is a nice length, just long enough to lay my player down and connect my audio cable, but not so long it is a bother. The flexible wire is a plus; some of these are rigid connectors that interfere with cases.

I've bought this cable back in December of 2010 and they're working really well so far. Although, they only work if I have them half plugged into my speakers, but I don't think that has anything to do with the cable, rather my speakers input port. Like somebody else said, they do what they're supposed to do, I would recommend purchasing these cables.

The cable itself is simple and does what it is supposed to do. The price was right. Best Buy and Radioshack can not come close for the same products. Even if there is a shipping cost, you can always find a better price on Amazon.

The cable works perfectly with great audio signal transmission. I use it to connect my xBox360 component audio to my stereo surround system. Unlike other adapters, this one actually gives you a bit of cord, which gives you a little bit more distance. I keep my audio console right next to my screen, so it's not much of a problem for me, but the few inches of cord go a long way to make connections easier and aesthetically pleasing.

I use this to hook up my xbox 360 to my bose stero that only uses the small headphone jacks... Sound quality is great. Just make sure you have the red and white audio cables to connect with.
