The product showed up on time, is long like I wanted, and works fine, just fine.

I've ordered this same S-video cable some months back. The one shipped in my most recent order, however, is not the same cable I purchased twice before. The connectors are different (no big thing) and the wire seems thicker (should have made it an improvement over the old stock), and image quality is above average for this budget range. But it doesn't have the contrast, snap, or brilliance and color fidelity of the old stock with plainer plugs. I've no complaint with CablesToGo, they have a good product line and good customer service. I guess the old stock ran out and CTG had to substitute an equal-cost product. Not a bad piece of wire, and better than pricey stuff like Monster, but the older wire was superior.

I needed an S-Video cable to hook my laptop up to my DVD-recorder in order to archive some valuable material. I have finally begun using this cable and I've got to say that I am pleased with the results. Videos from the internet actually display on my TV in slightly better quality than from the original website.

The cable itself is long and sturdy. The material does not feel cheap. Best aspect is that the price of this particular cable is SUPER CHEAP! Definately recommend this product considering the price and quality for anyone who needs an S-Video cable.

These cables are great, twice as heavy as those cheap TV cables supplied by Comcast. Very inexpensive, don't know how they sell them at this price and make any profit (made in China).

Don't let the cheap price fool you. This is a good quality cable for TV/DVD S video and it works great. It comes in a simple ziplock style bag, which is a plus for me. No need for a fancy hard to open case that increases the cost and ends up in the trash.

I found the S-Video cable to be just what I was looking for, It came brand new and for such a cheap price, much better than going to the store. What would I ever do with out Amazon.com ?. Thank you Mr. Bruno

I bought this cable thinking the silver contacts should be fine for outputting video from a laptop to a TV. It works fine, however you can clearly see some lines within the video moving up and down. There are not always there, but they do clearly show the inferior quality of the cable when they are there, and do get annoying during a movie. I bought the 24K gold plated version Cables To Go - 29160 - 25ft Velocity S-Video Cable (Black) from the same company and the lines went away completely.

I basically show you exactly why i consider this cable cheap. it is what you pay for. it works and you'll end up fighting with it for it to work... but its cheap, cheaply made, and it works...

get this if your want to save some scratch like i did. or buy something with more craftsmanship if you feel like it.

you know i might be too harsh with this cable. it probably deserves a 3 or maybe 4...

It does its job. I like the Length. The picture quality has interference leaving lnes slowly scrolling up the screen but for the price and my use it doesnt bother me. Just be aware that it doesnt use gold causing the interference. I like it though.
