This is a fairly cheap way to add a quality HDMI port to your setup. Its a fairly heavy duty box in a nice small size. If you shop around it can be found as low as $83. Very little if any picture degredation. Remote lets you switch between sources and turn power on and off. Reason I gave it 4* instead of 5* for a few more dollars on Monoprice you can get a similar quality 5 port HDMI swicther. Thats right I said 5 port, this only has two, but its small and works very well. Overall I'm happy with this little box as I only really need two ports , but in the future I might be unhappy as I need more ports. I guess I can always get the other one.I would have gone with the other but I did not see it until after I ordered this one, not sure the Monoprice one is as good quality as this one.
