Bought one of these to hook up my rather old DVD player to my TV. The connectors seem to be of good quality, they fit snugly without being too tight. The cable itself is of satisfactory thickness, and is very flexible. Did the picture quality improve over the standard RCA composite cable I was using before? Perhaps slightly, I can't really tell. In any event, it looks great.
My only complaint is the packaging - it's one of those mega-strong plastic boxes that you almost need tin snips to open. Once you eventually manage to extract the cable form its container, it's wrapped in a tight coil, and of course it will retain this tight coil for a day or so after you've opened it. I had to unwrap it from itself several times while installing it. Overall, other than the inconvenience of the packaging, I'm quite happy with this cable. The quality and price are good, and it provides excellent performance. |
