Works great.
I picked this up to power my GPS. It came with a USB cable that powers the unit when it is hooked up to my computer. So instead of spending another $30 for a whole power cable, I got this and it works great. Some devices need more power coming through and this device will not allow enough through to charge my BlackBerry.

I picked this up to power my GPS. It came with a USB cable that powers the unit when it is hooked up to my computer.So instead of spending another $30 for a whole power cable, I got this and it works great. The usb connector is on the side of the adapter and not the end, as you can see in the picture, but this helps keep the cable from sticking out from the dash. The usb connection fits tight and doesn't pull out by accident. It was a good buy.

This thing works,

I just got back from a month-long trip in which I used this little device to charge my camera, cell phone and iPod. It's really amazing. I did notice a few times that the contacts had to be aligned, but it may have been my plug-in.
