5.0 out of 5 stars Suprisingly Thin, February 19, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Cables Unlimited PCM-2292-05M UltraFlat HDMI 1.3 Home Theatre Cable (Black) (Electronics)
I was suprised just how thin this cable was, which was perfect for my application (running under the rug across the opening between the living room and dining room). Ultimate I returned it because I failed to noticed that it was only 15' long and I was only researching 25' long cables when I purchased it. But it worked great while I had it.

I just wish it's length was in its description in feet for those of us too confident of our searches to read the fine print or recognize that the 05M probably meant 5 meters.

It is worth mentioning that when I used this cable to extend the reach of the 25' cable I purchased to replace it (GE 22784 Ultra ProGrade A to A Flat HDMI Cable (25 Feet)) that the monitor became unviewable due to interference/VisualNoise. 15' is fine, but much more than that and this cable cannot keep the signal from degrading too much. I fixed that by just using a shorter cable and returned this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good inexpensive HDMI cable, April 18, 2008
This review is from: Cables Unlimited PCM-2292-05M UltraFlat HDMI 1.3 Home Theatre Cable (Black) (Electronics)
The cable is well-made and functions well in an upper-end system. Having researched HDMI cables, several reviewers (CNET, Consumer Reports) have noted that for short runs, inexpensive cables work as well as more expensive ones, which is probably due to the fact that one is working with a digital and not analog signal. This cable is of better construction than the cheapest ones available, while still being relatively inexpensive, and has the advantage of being flat, which can make it easier to pass behind walls or cabinets. I would recommend it over cheaper cables, especially if access to the cable would make it difficult to replace if the cable malfunctions; moreover, I do not believe that more expensive cables will improve signal quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love these flat cables!!!, June 13, 2009
This review is from: Cables Unlimited PCM-2292-05M UltraFlat HDMI 1.3 Home Theatre Cable (Black) (Electronics)
I just received this flat cable. I was relieved to see when I opened the package that the flat cable was very substantial strong feeling, but still thin and flexible. It lays flat when straightened. My picture quality is excellent. This cable is especially suited for running inside of flat conduit along baseboard and walls to flat-screen TV mounted on the wall.
