My PC video card can use a special adapter to convert a DVI output to a full HDMI output, but that's expensive and more complicated. By using this cable from the second DVI output to my TV, and using my PC sound card for sound output, I get Blu-ray/etc. output at full native quality, and it was mind-bogglingly easy to accomplish.
