I purchased these for Christmas '08 and had them boxed up to send back the same day I opened them. They just do not have a clear sound. Kind of like when you are just loosing a radio station as you drive out of town. I do have a wireless network & cordless phone so maybe they affected it but none of them were 900 Mhz like these speakers and the speaker were only a few feet from the transmitter. Sadly I will have to run speaker cable as the wireless option is not going to pan out.
