I bought a couple of these, a black one and this white one to try on my iPod Touch 3G to try out it's recording ability. I figured they would only last a short time and then I would buy something better. I have been using it for 6 months now on a regular basis and it is still going strong. Great little microphone. The quality of the recording is much better than on my Sony tape recorder.There are a number of good recording apps for the iPod and so far this works well with the 12 I have tried. With one of the programs that has microphone gain on it I was able to pick up people talking very clearly at 20 feet away. Very surprising quality for such a little inexpensive mic.

The microphone works really good and has clear sound quality. If you want to buy this to play a game like talking Tom it docent work. It goes into the headphone jack. So your iPod touch thinks it is a headphone, and the speakers then won't play out and you can't hear the volume. You can't buy a double headphone jack and plug a speaker into the other jack because it docent work, I tried.
