When you have 3 little ones, your options are limited!,

This review is from: Joovy BIG Caboose Triple Stand-On Tandem Stroller (Baby Product)
I did a lot of research on triple strollers before buying. My budget was limited, but I needed something. I have a 2 1/2 year old, an 18 month old, and I'm due with #3 in just a few weeks. I've been using this stroller for several months now instead of my old double (in storage). A few observations:
Good: Like the full tray for both seats. Snacks are essential on the go, trays make life better. Hard to find a triple with those. Wish the jump seat had a snack area. Like the stadium seating so both kids in the full seats can see better. Like the optional 5 point harness. My toddlers can get out of 3 points. Like the look. For a big beast, it's not ugly. Like the flat fold- folds flatter than my Graco Double did, and no heavier. Canopies are great, like the locks. My uninitiated sister in law folded them without undoing the locks though, and broke them, so be careful. Bad: No parent organizer- you have to buy an after-market one for $30, which stinks after you spend that much on a stroller. It's a tank. You can fit through narrow doorways better than a big jogger, but it takes some muscle to maneuver this thing. The jump seat is pretty small, smaller than on the doubles. If the rear seat is reclined you can't use the jump seat. The lower storage basket isn't easy to get to. Nowhere to stick stuff. I drive the biggest SUV on the road- a Ford Excursion. The thing barely fits in the back when the spare tire is in, and I usually remove the front tray and canopies to make it work. The recline is only 2 position, and on my rear seat it doesn't stay up very well. That's probably just a sticky point with mine, but check it out. Canopies only cover the 2 main seats, the jump seat isn't very protected. I guess the idea is by that age a toddler can wear a rain coat. Overall, for me it was the least of all evils. I needed something and this fit my requirements for budget and function better than anything else I could find on the market. I think it's got its problems though. Don't buy it assuming it will be just like one of the Joovy doubles. Make sure you get to try it out before deciding if it's the one you want.

Answer to any house-bound mom's prayers,
This review is from: Joovy BIG Caboose Triple Stand-On Tandem Stroller (Baby Product)
When twins joined my 2 and 1 yr old, the thought of ever leaving my home seemed undoable. This stroller was a savior for me. Yes, it is heavy & bulky, but you take the good with the bad. It's great looking, lots of under carriage storage -- you just need to unsnap the bottom snaps to put anything big in. The stadium seating is great for the kids. The back child has as good a view as the front. The canopies are huge & great for sun/rain. The parent organizer is a must-buy, though, & not included. This stroller is not "easy" to maneuver, but not that difficult either. You ARE lugging around three kids on it, so I always just looked at it as a triceps workout, which I probably needed anyway. I had no problem with this stroller in malls, parks, stores, etc. Once you get it out of the car & going, it's great. I did need to take the front tray & canopy off to fit my car though & I drive a Ford Expedition, so that was not always convenient, but what ever is easy & convenient when you're toting around all those toddlers! This makes life very "doable." I even took my 4 to the zoo alone with this thing.
