A lovely cd to share at preschool,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cada Nino / Every Child (Audio CD)
My son's preschool is about fifty-fifty English and Spanish speaking, so I've loved having this cd to share with his teachers and his friends. The songs are so much less irritating than some kids' music, and less bombastic than some popular Spanish-language kids' tapes (like Xuxa). It's charming for all listeners. I love the Day of the Dead song, too, since we don't come by those everyday on kids' cds. I have also found Jose Luis Orozco to be fun for this age and mix of kids, if you're looking for ideas.

The best bilingual CD for children of all times,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cada Nino / Every Child (Audio CD)
Tish's lyrics are clearly enunciated and the words are printed in the CD companion booklet (in Spanish and English) making the CD an outstanding teaching tool for English and Spanish teachers. The clarity of her voice and the diversity of the songs make the compilation a pleasure to listen to. The listener gets not only enjoyable music but also learns about issues and traditions important to the Mexican and Mex-Tex communities. The best bilingual CD for children of all times!!!!

Great bilungual music,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cada Nino / Every Child (Audio CD)
One of the best bilingual albums for kids ever. One of our favorite songs is "Magnolia", a tribute to a dancing magnolia tree in the style of the Beatles' Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The pronunciation and lyrics are authentic and will help teach Spanish to the kids. An album both the parents and the children can listen to and enjoy. Tish Hinojsa includes her own children's trumpet and violin skills and neighborhood choirs in a charming touch. Even the liner notes were fun to read.
