Standard milk chocolate mini-eggs are easy to find in your standard grocery store. They are pretty good, but these dark chocolate eggs are better. I highly recommend these if you enjoy dark chocolate. Unfortunately they are difficult to find in stores.

I've always eagerly awaited the Easter season to get my Cadbury egg fix. The sweet crackle of the shell is awesomely complemented by the smooth deliciousness of the chocolate. Incredibly the have managed to improve the product by making it with dark chocolate! Perfection...

Cadbury eggs are one of the joys of Easter, and the quality of chocolate is excellent. The dark minieggs are wonderful to eat alone or drop into a cup of coffee to enjoy. In my neck of the woods, this product is hard to find, so it was a treat to get it from Amazon with such a short delivery time.

If i could rate this product 800 stars i would....
these are the most delicious rich chocolatey eggs i have ever put in my mouth.
Better than REGULAR mini eggs BY FAR....
tough to find RDME's in stores so you have to bulk order online....

Cadbury Dark Chocolate Eggs have become my absolute Easter Favorite! They are not always available in local stores. I took advantage and ordered through Amazon... I think I got last year's stock! Eggs were very hard inside the coating and the coating on most of the eggs was cracked off during shipping...

Love these Eggs....Shipper need to invest in bubble wrap!

Love royal dark eggs and can rarely find them locally. Was happy to order online to have on hand at work. Have now opened the second bag and cant believe that like the first, EVERY EGG'S CANDY SHELL IS BROKEN.

Thank goodness for Amazon! Every local store near me sells only the milk chocolate variety of these mini eggs. I finally decided ti was worth buying 4 bags at once to get the dark chocolate ones. They're delicious. The crispy shell somehow makes the dark chocolate (which I could buy all year in the form of a Royal Dark bar) better.

These are very hard to find. Walgreens and Amazon are the only two places thus far that i have located them. They are crazy addictive as well! They have a perfectly crunchy candy shell that covers a very rich dark chocolate that will melt in your mouth! Even if you dont like dark chocolate, these will blow your mind! I love love love them!

I was so glad to score a 4-pack of these tasty treats, since the stores in my area were sold out the week before Easter! I'm not a fan of milk chocolate and LOVE dark chocolate, so these were absolutely amazing! It's too bad Cadbury doesn't produce them year-round.

The date on the packages I received suggested these were good until 2014.
I suspect the unpleasant gritty white coating was caused by being stored in temperatures that were not conducive to keep the product stable.
Of course buying candy eggs after Easter is risky and this is another example.
