I love this movie the first time I sall the advertisement i knew i had to watch it. Hilary Duff (My favorite singer and actor)Plays a girl living in new York with her divorced mom. She soon finds out that her mom is marrying , and she has to go to military school .When she get there a leader for the drill team (Christy Carlson Romano) is her bunk mate . Hilary hates the drill team,and christy, when later she chooses to join and helps the team win. .almost. But before her team wins her father goes missing and she has to save him. An awesome movie. great acting and good music. A good movie for all ages.

this is a very good movie for the whole family. hilary plays kelly. and since kelly got a step dad she has to go to milatery scholl. its sooo funny and christy is also a good actress so this movie is perfect. i cant beleive it took them this long to put it on dvd. oh and for the people who havnt seen it watch on disney and then buy it if you like it. but you will its a great movie.

Cadet Kelly was such a good movie! It is based around a girl named Kelly Collins (Hilary Duff.) Her life is flipped around when her step-father, Sir (Gary Cole), wants her to go to military school. Though she does not want to go, leaving Manhatten, she does attend the school. Kelly then meets Jennifer Stone (Christy Carlson Romano), who is a strict or "mean" kind of person. Both don't get along, but in the end.. everything works out! I AM HAPPY TO SEE THIS MOVIE RELEASED ON DVD ON MY BIRTHDAY! Yeah! (Get it for me, mom and dad or friends!!)I WAS SO SAD A YEAR OR SO AGO THAT OTHER MOVIES FROM DISNEY WERE RELEASED BUT NOT CADET KELLY! THANK YOU!!! happy b-day for me.. soon!

I love this movie. I remember watching this movie on t.v. ...and I loved it. I am so happy that they have finally released this movie on DVD. Be sure to check out Hilary's other movies like:
-A Cinderella Story (this is one of my fav movies)
-Raise Your Voice (awww, what a cute movie..I LOVE this movie)
-The Perfect Man (this movie is really good!)
...her acting is really good in "Cadet Kelly" and in all of her other movies.

Kelly is a prissy, artistic teen who can also be a little bit of a smart aleck. When her mother re-marries and breaks the news to Kelly - they're moving and she's going to be attending military school at their new location - she is miserble. But could she be the one to turn military school into a place of fun, fashion, and friends? Most likely not. Will she be able to handle the fact that her stepdad is the HEAD of the school? She's not sure. And finally, will she be able to turn her stepdad into a "father" before the new baby arrives? As Kelly often says, she has "to do everything".

This is an entertaining, feel-good sort of movie. It's definately not worthy of an Academy Award or anything like that, but I like to watch it sometimes whenever it's on the Disney Channel. Christy Carlson Romano does a great job as the mean "Captain Stone", as does Hilary as the funky, fun "Kelly". Overall, this movie is simple, but it's still good. I recommend it to Hilary Duff and Christy Carlson Romano fans, as well as to girls who love a good tween movie. But, I ALSO recommend that (unless you don't have cable) you watch it on the Disney Channel, because then you can view it for free!

I just purchased this movie and I love it so much. I first watched it on the Disney Channel in 2002. But I remeber Hilary from Caper meets Wendy(t.v. movie), Lizzie McGuire(series). Now she is one of Hollywoods sweethearts. She also stars in The Lizzie McGuire movie, A Cinderella Story, Raise Your Voice, and The Perfect Man. Plus Material Girls playing opposite Haylie Duff(older sister). This dvd has cool extras and teen sensation Christy Carlson Romano from Kim Possible(series), Even Stevens(series) and her movies Kim Possible movie So The Drama(t.v. movie), The Even Stevens Movie(t.v. movie) all Disney Channel originals and her newest Campus Confidential(ABC Family Origianl movie)t.v. movie. Highly Reccommend this to add to your dvd collection.

this is such a cool movie.i dont know how i would last without this movie. it teaches about the fun and the bad part of life. i personally think its a great teen/kids movie. hilary is awsome and acts pretty good for her age in the movie. goooo hilary. and gooooo cadet kelly. wonderfull movie!

At last disney movies getting released on DVD I Love Hilary Duff so I'm glad to own another one of her movies i'll be the first in line for it at Target!!! I cant wait!
