I really like this CD. It's upbeat, peppy, and it encourages me in my faith. My favorite song is Fantasy, which is the guys in the band urging a girl to stop fantasizing about marrying a non-Christian guy. Cadet's lyrics are surprisingly deep for such a "poppy" album. They remind me a lot of Switchfoot. Buy this album--it's innovative and fun!

I must say, upon first listen, I thought I loved this CD. Upon listening to it a few more times, I grew to see the multiple flaws. First of all, many of the songs use very similar harmonies and guitar riffs, second of all, many songs sound slightly like circus music, "Gremmy" anyone?

Overall, this isn't the worst CD you can buy, but I would definately buy Toby Mac or something instead.

This is a great CD. I saw these guys in concert in March with the Newsboys and they were rockin! Great sound and uptempo! Buy it.

This CD was given to my son on his 13th birthday by his cousin. Hadn't heard of Cadet before, but our cousin highly recommended them. Now, we couldn't agree more. The songs are energetic, some faster, some slower but always interesting. My son adds (he's 14 now), "The surf beat on some of the tracks is really cool. It's a bonus that they're Christian. I really want to get more from them."

I saw Cadet live at Festival Con Dios on May 19th. They put on a great show with kickin music.

Cadet's self titled debut has it all. Good music with a good message. Fresh vocals and playful instrumentals make every song on this cd sparkle. An excellent first attempt.
