I bought this bike in May of 2010, had it now for about 3 months, and i absolutely love the bike. Did the super savings shipping and came in 2 days. Contrary to what the one reviewer experienced, mine came with directions. Not needed but they will help someone who hasn't put a bike together before. If you've never worked with disc brakes i do suggest you get it assembled by a local bike shop, they can be tricky with aligning. You only need to assemble the pedals, handle bars, and front brakes, the back is already setup out of the box.

Riding the bike is an absolute joy, i tend to beat my bikes up pretty good, and this bike has held its own. I actively ride mountain trails and dirt jumps, haven't had an issue with it yet. Also i tend to use this bike as a daily commuter over my road bike (only 5 miles) because its fun, handles curbs/jumps/bumps extremely well, also setting the suspension correctly plays a valuable key.

I have suggested this bike to a friend, who also bought it and throughly enjoys it. I'd buy it again, if need.

I bought the 21" frame size of this Cadillac mountain bike two months ago and I must say it is awesome. I am 6ft, so I bought the 21" frame size from the online Cadillac bike store (google it) with free shipping. The components are very good for my level of riding. I don't ride mountain bikes the way some professionals do therefore this bike was an excellent choice for me. Once I received my bike via UPS I took it to a local bike store for professional assembly and tuning of all the parts, gearing, etc. I have taken this bike on several amateur level bike trails and it rides flawlessly. The front and rear suspension works super smooth. This bike looks awesome in person as the posted photo's do it no justice. For me, the Cadillac logo's and stickers on the bike are just fine and makes the bike stand out from other name brand bikes. I've read some negative reviews for the Cadillac logo's placed on this bike in which I think some people are just plain nitpicky. In my opinion, Cadillac produces some awesome vehicles like the Escalade, STS, and CTS/V and therefore I think the brand being slapped onto a mountain bike of this quality is awesome. The frame is very sturdy for beginner/amateur levels of mountain bike/ trail riding but if you enjoy extreme mountain biking like downhill racing, etc., then you should go ahead and look to spend hundreds of dollars more for an even tougher built mountain bike if you have that kind of money to spend. For the average everyday rider, this bike will do you much justice. The only modifcation I recommend is to upgrade to a more comfortable saddle for a better overall quality ride for longer periods. I went with the schwinn adult ergonomic gel saddle here also on amazon.

Great deal on a mountain bike, reg price was $499.99 , Amazon sold for $315.00. 100mm Travel front and back awsome! Sealed bottom bracket, really smooth. Had one issue, ad on Amazon read bike had 2.35 tires, the bike came with 2.10 tires, Amazon customer service gave be back $40.00 store credit for the tire issue, will buy again from Amazon! If your looking for a light XC bike this is the one.

Very satisfied Customer

I purchased this Cadillac Mountain bike for myself for Christmas and it is great. I took it to a professional for assembly and the guy made the comment that he had only heard of these and this was the first one he has seen and for the price I paid on Amazon he said it was a huge bargain, the shifters, brakes and suspension are all used on more expensive bikes costing upwards of $600 plus.
I rode it for the first time down by the Ocean and it rides great on smooth or rough pavement, the suspension works so good I only felt half of the bumps I hit.
I watched my friend bounce up and down on his Trek.
We actually traded bikes for a while and the only difference is that the Cadillac was a bit heavier but all around a better bike for the price.

This bike came well packed and on time. The assembly was pretty easy, but the bike did not come with assembly instructions. The bike works great and makes for a very comfortable ride. This is a great quality bike for the price.

I got this bike maybe three months ago and it was bad right out of the box. First it wasn't so bad...the chain fell off twice and that was the end of that for awhile. Then the disc breaks started rubbing against the pads which was a monstrous pain that I was never able to fix completely. And then just recently the gears just sort of fell apart for no reason. The back derailleur just stopped switching, leaving me with about four gears to choose from. The chain has slipped often from the start and the pedals are garbage. Just over all a cheap bike. Not recommended.

A not very solid bike, the pedals broke after only one week, the chainring teeth wear out very fast and jump if you press too hard on the pedals, a bike ok for a tour but certainly not a mountain bike! in addition impossible to contact the customer service! very bad buy for me!
