Boz Scaggs puts his stamp on a great old tune and it's fabulous. I heard this song on Bluesville and had to have it.

I first heard this song when Boz Scaggs appeared on the Tonight Show. Enjoyed it so much I HAD to look it up! Anyone who enjoys good bluesy rock should love this "Cadillac Walk"!

This is an absolute gem. Boz shows how he got to be a Bay area legend, and shows the blues chops that brought him to our attention in the first place.

Boz Scaggs.
An album for the singer.
Any great contemporary vocalist who has ever wanted the perfect song must have Mixed Up Shook Up Girl high, high, high in the mix. Thing is though, it's really easy to sing, but even easier to completely wreck. There's this deceptive key change up in the middle... anyone who can understand the song gets it, but there are plenty of others who just plough on. That's where it all falls to pieces for anyone who "sings" rather than inhabits a song.
This is the best reading I have heard since Willy Deville's perfect run a million years ago.
Rest is pretty great, too. Including the one for the band on the last track. I'm still listening.
Don't know if anyone from Boz-world reads this, but if so, please pass on my humble congratulations to the singer/team.
I never use the word brilliant, but it just is.
