An accident entangles him within a rusty wire fence throughout a chilly autumn night. He loses consciousness, but is then rescued. Later, he wins a blue ribbon. Finally, he leaves the farm.
A poignant creation by the author, using mans best friend to encourage a sense of fairness and values in relating to other people. This book is an easily read story, which may be enjoyed by young and old alike. Gene Howle, Retired Public School Teacher, St. Louis, Missouri.
