5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious bargain
These pods are very flavorful. There is a nice selection although I do wish someone would make a flavored decaf pod. They produce rich complex brews. I use them in my Senseo and if use two together I moisten them first to fit in the pod holder as each pod contains more coffee than the Senseo brand. I am looking forward to sampling all the varieties.

Coffee is OK, but no longer the bargain it was when originally introduced 2 or 3 months ago. Price has almost doubled. Might as well buy Senseo, or better yet Melitta with the individual pod packs. Both are probably a bit superior to this brand and are now similarly priced.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleasant with Kurig, November 12, 2010
This review is from: Cafe Halo 3 Flavor Natural Decaf Variety Pack (4.23-Ounce), 16-Count Pods (Pack of 3) (Grocery)
Brews a pleasant cup of decaf in the Kurig with the pod holster: Perfect Pod Holster Use Any Pod in Your Keurig Coffee Maker - Over 10,000 Sold. I'm not much of a coffee connoisseur, but I drink a lot of it. This decaf is my nighttime beverage, and works well by itself or with a shot of Kahlua. It's pretty mild, but I don't drink decaf for a strong taste. Cafe Halo is my choice for 3 reasons:
1) Price
2) 3 large bags instead of individually wrapped pods. Less waste. I just keep them in a canister by my Kurig to keep them fresh.
3) Tastes fine

4.0 out of 5 stars Halo offers 2nd decaf option for Senseo owners, May 31, 2010

Halo offers 2nd decaf option for Senseo owners, and as someone that only buys decaf coffee, I'm grateful for it. If they would offer more varieties of pod decaf, I would surely buy them. As is, I can alternate the Halo decaf with the Senseo decaf for variety at home.

So many pods have been disappointing to me, that it's nice to be able to give these a top rating. Every bit as good as their hi-test version. Not bitter, not too strong, and definitely not weak. These pods fit snugly in a new-generation Melitta 1:1 brewer (the one that makes real coffee instead of dark water).

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed in flavor, April 21, 2010
This review is from: Cafe Halo 3 Flavor Natural Decaf Variety Pack (4.23-Ounce), 16-Count Pods (Pack of 3) (Grocery)
Use of these Halo Decaf pods in my Senseo was very disappointing. The flavor of the coffee was quite mild to flavorless. So whether it's the Senseo coffee maker or the coffee pods is unknown but the results of the combination wasn't good. I did open the pods and used the coffee grounds in my four cup Mr Coffee maker. It actually made pretty good coffee. The pods, however, are too costly to use as premeasured one cup packs for a drip coffee maker. I won't buy this brand again in pod form.
