Book Description

Wayra, as her name indicates, lives upon the Golden Wind. As a shaman, the wind guides her work and life. The Wind carries voices to her from the Invisible realms: ancestors, guides, totems, and angels. Wayra knows how to navigate these realms. They are her second home. Most of the voices and beings she encounteres are benevolent, loving. They teach and guide her, and the voices help her in her healing work.

Wayra serves the needs of her migrant community. But her reputation spreads beyond those parameters, spilling out into the wider world. Being of mixed blood, she bridges all worlds without difficulty. She is grateful to share teachings and to educate people. She teaches others how to live in harmony with Pachamama, Mother Earth.

Pachamama is the most essential of all the invisible voices, because everyone relies on her for protection and support. But there exists other voices, other beings not at all like the loving Mother. Wayra can never have anticipated how those invisible worlds manipulate events for the darkest of agendas.

More About the Author

Teri spends most of her time, hanging out on a small farm in Vermont with 4 horses, a dog and a cat. currently she also has 6 dairy goats ( pics on her site).. and 3 babies fresh on the ground!

Teri has two main areas of interest, that often overlap. She is a holistic and life coach- supporting people to find innovative and holistic solutions to many of their life and health issues. She also coaches at-risk and gifted youth.

She helps Alzheimer's patients and caregivers develop holistic programs. These protocols will support improved brain function while minimising stress. She works with patients, and caregivers, to develop health plans that include nutrition, vitamins, supplements and activities. The results can reverse the damage caused by Alzheimer's. She even wrote a book that incorporates much of what she teaches her clients about the connection between brain health, and nutrition and lifestyle.

Teri's other main interest is working with animals. training dogs, but more stongly.. with horses. Teri has a deep and strong connection to horses, having ridden and owned horses for over 30 years. She works mainly with thoroughbred horses, rescue and rehab, on her small farm in Vermont. And her best work, is in combination.. where she helps youth become mature, compassionate and responsible adults, while working with horses and learning how to ride.

This approach teaches kids how to approach the world with relaxed confidence and respect, to recognize their strengths and acknowledge their weaknesses, and have compassion for all things. This is done through developing intuition and awareness that can be learned from working with horses.

When not working or writing, Teri is an avid and unrepentant science fiction junkie, and enjoys most outdoor activities, from hiking to skiing, to good company around a bonfire. You can check out her blog, or sign up to follow her from her site

Teri spent many years studying with teachers from both North and South American medicine teachings- mostly from the High Andean traditions of Peru. She also trains dogs and horses, and teaches riding lessons with a holistic perspective. She is a practicing herbalist- specializing in Rainforest plants. The Earth and her animals have been her greatest teachers.

She completed a Masters degree in Education, specializing in the development of curriculum- HOW people learn best. Her prime area is in working with at-risk and non-traditional learners. This understanding helps in working with clients and students. Clients and students create meaning and depth from their experiences. This enables genuine and lasting change through finding inner strength and Power.

She lives in Vermont, where she works on rehab and training of horses and teaching students to connect with the path they are trying to walk.

Teri is currently working on Soldier to Warrior, an adaptation of "Dancing" for soldiers vets and anyone who has been through traumatic experiences. She is also writing a young adult workbook-storybook. Additionally, she is in the process of producing a DVD:"Kinesthetic Meditation and Grounding."
