I happened to catch this vibrant artist in a small venue north of LA in May of '09 and she sang what is apparently one of her more popular songs, 500 Miles. The vocals and melody make it that perfect song to hear when you just need to drive away and think. The resolution/climax to this song is perfectly done. So easy to want to put this song on repeat and hear the chorus over and over. I'd really love to hear this song re-imagined and end up someplace else, perhaps a soundtrack or nerw album by the artist. It really needs to be shared with the world.
