I need my caffeine, and as a college student my ultimate objective has been to lower the amount of money I spend on caffeine, because right now there is no way I'm lowering the amount of caffeine I take, I need it for studying right now and everything else for that matter! I started with starbucks, yeah that didn't last long...way too expensive. I started drinking monsters but they were pretty darn expensive too and then I found these pills which have been doing the job for me. I bought few bottles and then my boyfriend referred me to even a cheaper source on amazon at 250 grams Caffeine Anhydrous Bulk Powder, and I guess it's as potent as you can get too. It is a bulk product meaning no scoop for dosing, inexpensive packaging, but it is the same exact thing and is much less expensive. If you need your daily fix of caffeine like I do, then you probably are also looking for a low cost high quality source, hope this helps!

I started using caffeine pills so I wasn't buying a mountain dew or two a day. I don't like coffee, and if I drink tea I have to pee way too often.

Nothing special about these tablets, I just like buying in bulk.

I cut them in half. I found I have way too much energy if I take all 200mg at once, and it can leave my stomach upset if I haven't eaten.

I am a college student - a computer engineer, at that. This means that caffeine is almost required to keep up with school. I have a very high caffeine tolerance, so an all-nighter would usually amount to me drinking about 4 energy drinks. This would lead to me urinating frequently, being all sugared up, and still being a little sleepy (because energy drinks are primarily herbal stimulants, NOT caffeine). Also, 4 16oz. drinks would total almost 1000 calories, and it really began to add up. So, fed up with this, I went with caffeine pills. I was a little nervous at first, because something about taking a stimulant in pill form was intimidating to me.

No longer!

There are a few things that one should realize about caffeine pills:

---Caffeine is very, very hard to take too much of. The bottle recommends to not take more than three per day, and I almost never exceed this, but you would need to take a lot more than three in rapid succession to start experiencing any negative side effects.
---Pure caffeine leads to a much more focused, natural mindset than a sugared one.
---200mg (the dosage per pill) is not an absurdly high dose. A standard cup of coffee, depending on size, has 100-150 mg of caffeine in it.
---Taking one pill every 2-3 hours has led to some of the most productive all-nighters I have ever done.
---Your tolerance to caffeine will build very, very quickly.
---Although I did not experience any severe withdrawal symptoms when stopping, taking these regularly and then quitting cold turkey could really get you. If you experience bad headaches and irritability after stopping a morning coffee routine, then these pills are not for you.
---Since starting these, I have stopped drinking energy drinks and soda altogether; I have lost weight from not drinking soda, my grades have improved, and I have more money.

For me, these pills were a win-win decision. I have no doubt that experience varies from person to person, but I also strongly recommend trying these out.

Quick caffeine fix without all the extra calories that other caffeinated products come with I.E Soda, coffee and Tea. Works great. Took one 45mins before working out, and I tore it up.

The caffeine is as good as a cup of coffee without the extra calories or hassle!!! Very convenient if you are on the run and need a good pick me up!!!

Prolab makes good supplements and this product was no exception. I take these pills before working out. They produce nice results.

I usually have coffee (small cup) just enough hype :) before my work out or my run.
1/2 pill works perfectly and effectively within 30 to 45 min without the jitters.
Love it, will get some more.

Drinking coffee in the morning-opposes healthy food.. ie. coffee doesn't go with fruit. So i eat a better breakfast now. Also, it's nice to have a standardized dose of caffeine. (i had no idea how much i was getting before.) Prolab costs less than the others and is just as good. The pills are far cheaper than coffee, soda or energy drinks. While coffee can taste really good in certain forms, the main reason I drink coffee is for the caffeine effects. Just recently I noticed that my tonsils were feeling funny, and I have also been experiencing ear infections which I believe were caused by the coffee I drink. I also don't like the fact that coffee stains my teeth even though I brush my teeth immediately after consuming it. Since I rely mainly on caffeine to help me get through the day I felt the need to find a safer alternative to coffee. After looking at several expensive energy drinks and supplements, I happened to run across this particular brand of caffeine tablets. At first I was skeptical whether or not they could produce the same effects as caffeine in coffee but decided to give them a try. Within 15 or 20 minutes of popping a couple of them with a cool glass of water, I immediately felt the same effects as consuming a couple of strong cups of quality coffee. I must say that I am very impressed with this product and will continue to take them on a regular basis. If you are searching for a solid, affordable alternative to coffee then I think you found it.

Works great for me - I just ordered my second bottle. A little web research and reading labels told me that a cup of coffee or a Diet Coke runs about 50 mg of caffeine. I cut these 200 mg pills in half, since one-half tablet equals about two cups of coffee and that's all I want to take at one time.
