Caillou is the conductor of the ABC Train, a wonderful jigsaw train that chugs through the world of letters. On his train ride, Caillou employs the help of family, friends, and animals of every kind to help him learn his alphabet. Children can play with the puzzle pieces by placing them on corresponding images, and arrange the letters in order to make a train or simply enjoy the wonderful story and full-color illustrations.

About the Author
Chouette Publishing first published Caillou books in 1990, and the character went on to become the well-loved hero of the popular television series. They are located in Montreal, Quebec. Eric Sévigny is a graphic artist and the illustrator of numerous Caillou books, including Caillou: 123 Train and Caillou: Happy Holidays! He lives in Montreal, Quebec.

My daughter is 2 and she likes to play with this, as well as the 1 2 3 puzzle book. This is a little more harder for her than the 1 2 3 book, but with a little help, she is able to accomplish this. Practice makes perfect!

This book is really cute, heavy weight and fun to play with, but...some of the animals listed were even unknown to me! Wish they could have come up with more familiar examples for the ABCs being taught to 2 year olds. Other than that - great buy!
