Caillou: Helps Mommy (Lift-the-Flap Book)

This is not really a lift-the-flap book in the 'normal' sense (heavy, cardboard pages with lots of flaps on each page), but rather a 20-page soft booklet with soft paper "flaps" (10 in total, I believe) glued to the pages.

Instead, for Caillou fans, I would recommend Caillou: My Book of Great Adventures (Treasury Collection), which is a 148-page hard cover book for just slightly more cost.

And if having a lift-the-flap book is a must, I recommend the Fisher Price lift-the flap books (such as Fisher Price Let's Go to the Zoo), which are sturdy and have 50+ flaps, with EVERY page having 5+ flaps. These are also just slightly more expensive than this booklet.

My little guy loves the Caillou episodes on Sprout- it's the only thing that keeps his attention for more than 2 minutes. He normally won't sit still for a book, but laughed as soon as he saw the cover and listened to the whole story. The second time we read it, he lifted the flaps himself. He did rip one of them off- they aren't super sturdy.

I really like the Caillou series, there's always a great lesson on sharing, helping, family and friendship.

What a fun book! My daughter is only two and loves to "read" this book and help Caillou over and over again! She sings the clean up song and giggles. We love to read together!

I bought this book along with 2 other Caillou books. My daughter (who is 2) likes looking through it and pulling open the tabs and enjoys having it read to her. It's not a large book but is worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone whose children like Caillou.
