My only complaint is the size of Rosie... that is Rosie, right? Because she is Caillou's younger sister, and is QUITE larger than Caillou. Therefore, my daughter says it isn't Rosie, but his friend Kevin in a dress. A little weird, haha, but figured that a little quality control is in order.
I wish Gilbert was included in here, but he wasn't.
The set includes: Caillou, Rosie, Leo, Clementine, and Emma.
The backpack isn't anything to write home about. It's just a plastic container with a zipper. Think ... bedding. Like what you'd find a cheap comforter in. It won't hold up long, but isn't why we bought this in the first place, so it's not a big deal. (To me.)
Besides the fact that it's Caillou - I think my son likes that they are flexible, the best. He loves moving their little bodies. I guess I hadn't realized until watching him play with them, that most toddler toys are rigid, unmoving. So, this was his first experience with flexible toys besides his sisters Barbies. Of course, because they are flexible, they can probably break off, which in case, would make them a choking hazard for our children here in the US. (Other countries don't have to warn about that. I guess it's because those parents just realize that if it breaks off, it can be choked on, and you should watch your kid.)
Anyway, sorry, I digress. For the most part, they look pretty much like the characters on TV. Close enough that my 2-year-old doesn't care. And he has a great time putting them on his trains and in his cars and trucks and zipping them around. I think his favorite may be Gilbert. It comes just as pictured, in the plastic 'backpack' - which isn't really a backpack - with the five characters, Caillou, Rosie, Clementine, Gilbert and Leo. Just over an inch tall, I'd guess.
Recommended for any Caillou fan who loves playing with little people.
Not sure what the purpose of the backpack is. Once you take the characters out, you've just got a clear bag with "Caillou" written on the straps. I'm sure this will end up in the bottom of the playroom closet in no time.

Nice collection of Caillou figures but Rosie, the youngest and smallest on the TV series, is the biggest figure. Caillou's little sister Rosie shouldn't be bigger than him, lol.Published 3 months ago by Kindle Customer
