Five stars? I dunno. I have the album for "Caillou's Holiday Movie" and think that's worth five stars. One star? Of course not. Not unless you or your kids can't stand Caillou, in which case, you're probably not going to be interested in this CD anyway.

Overall, this is a pretty good set of songs. If you or your kids are familiar with the show, then some of the songs on this album may seem vaguely familiar. The music starts with the theme song, which you may notice has been altered just slightly and is different from the theme song heard on the show (at least, up until 2006.) That's because it's performed by Jaclyn Linetsky (RIP), who took over as the voice of Caillou, but did not originally perform the theme song. Jaclyn Linetsky also performs the rest of the songs on this album, occasionally with Jennifer Seguin and Pat Fry as Mommy and Daddy.

Admittedly, some of the songs are better than others and sometimes it does seem more like Caillou is shouting than singing. But when he is actually singing, I'd say they're very good. The top four songs I'd say (in order of their appearance on the album) are the theme, "Rub-A-Dub Bathtub Blues," "The Recipe for Having Fun" and "Shooting Stars."

My son is obsessed with Caillou, and this CD is the perfect companion to all our videos. We listen to it in the car, and everyone can sing along with Caillou's funny little voice. It makes us laugh, even when hearing it for the 100th time.

If your child loves caillou as much as mine does, you must buy this CD. The songs are so fun & easy to sing along to. Great for playing in the car. My son loves this CD and we play it when we are in the car. Keeps him happy and make the road trip much more enjoyable. Believe me..... even adults will sing along!

The songs on this CD are easy to sing along to and learn various things like the days of the week, animal sounds, knowing you have lots of best friends ... you name it! Caillou is a fun show and kids and parents are sure to like it. I know, because I tried it out on six-year-old Melina and she really likes it. You can't stop thinking about and singing Caillou's cool songs!

My 4-year old loves the Caillou show. I bought this CD to play for him when we turn out the lights at night. The songs are great. If your little one is a fan of Caillou, this CD is a must!

Yes, it's true, if your child likes Caillou, he or she probably will like this CD. But, as a parent, I found this music unbearable! "Caillou" sings every one of these songs in that high-pitched, baby-talk voice he speaks with on the show. I was expecting this CD to contain some of the great songs sung by the real kids that the show features, but I was in for an awful surprise. I'm just glad I borrowed it from the library before I made a purchase I would have regretted. Make sure you listen to the sample tracks before buying this one!
