Longest-lasting scent and shine I've found,
By
This review is from: Cain & Able Lavender Conditioning Shampoo, 16 Ounces (Misc.)
I bought this after my dog came home from a kennel that used this line of products. She's a basset, so she can go stinky pretty quickly. But she was so shiny and smelled fresh for several weeks after this shampoo.
I have no basis to evaluate the natural flea-repellent claim, but I love the lavender scent of this shampoo and I especially love that it keeps her glossy and sweet-smelling, so I will continue to buy this. It's a little more costly than I would otherwise spend (I certainly don't buy myself expensive shampoo), but I have to say that it's been worth it.

So, I bought this strictly for the love that it was Peppermint. I have a secrete love for mint anything- so this was exciting for me.It works amazing. I have two chihuahuas, all who roll in things I'd like NOT to speak of here, and it breaks through everything that they may collect. It smells wonderful, and keeps its scent. Our dogs coats are so soft after wards- I'm amazed. Also, our male Chihuahua has sensitive skin- this did not irritate it at all, nor his allergies. But, I believe the best part about this is the fact that its versatile. You can not use this on cats, but you can on guinea pigs and rabbits. After traveling for seven hours in a pet crate, the five guinea pigs we got were a mess, I had no shampoo for them so I did a quick look-up about natural oils plus guinea pigs. This is safe to use, Now, I just used a little drop, and it lathered up fine, I didn't wash above the neck, and it still worked amazing. They were shiny and healthy and they didn't mind it! DO your research before you give your piggie a bath- don't drown your pet, don't forget to dry, don't leave any shampoo, yatta yatta.

When we got our new dog, my wife and I decided that we were only going to go with good products that didn't contain any harsh chemicals! After searching around a little, we decided on Cain & Able because I love the smell of Peppermint and Tea Trea is a wondrous plant!
GENERAL First off, this shampoo smells great out of the bottle! It's not too strong after our puppy is dry, but it really does leave a very nice smell on her. I can't say that the pump is as bad as some people have mentioned, but then again we only have a 21lb dog so we don't have to use all that much on her! EFFECTIVENESS We have noticed less itching from our dog, something that has nothing to do with fleas, but according to our vet probably something to do with her diet before we got her (she was a street rescue). She doesn't seem to desire to lick it once she has been washed, but even if she did we feel a lot better knowing that there are no artificial perfumes and chemicals that might be bad for her! We can't comment on the effectiveness of being an insect repellent, but both of the main ingredients are known to be natural repellents and we feel safe knowing she is protected! WHY 5 STARS?? - Great value for a safe and earth-friendly product - Smells GREAT! - Contains no harmful chemicals! OVERALL Overall we are very happy with this purchase, and our puppy seems to love it! I highly recommend this product, especially if you care about what seeps into your dog's skin! Feedback welcomed - if you didn't find this review helpful I would love to know why so I can continue to grow as a reviewer!

I love this shampoo, it deodorizes him and helps with bugs because of the tea tree oil in it they don't like the smell, But I Do.

This is the only shampoo that works on our dog's sensitive skin. It keeps his skin from drying out and it smells great.

I bought the lavender shampoo---- the shampoo is good quality, and has a really nice herbal smell. It's not as sudsy as some other dog shampoos (probably because it's all natural?) but otherwise very good. I only gave it four stars since it's a bit expensive considering how much you get.

I really like this shampoo 0 but as others have said, the pump is worthless, I tried it a few times and it just doesn't dispense enough.

I bought this after reading reviews. The aroma is nice and not overpowering. It doesn't leave my dog smelling like a flower bowl, but I don't want that. He smells largely neutral, with a hint of fragrance. It lathers well and rinses cleanly and easily. Doesn't seen to irritate or hurt his eyes. Good product.
