A little hot sauce with my romance please... :-),
By
This review is from: Cajun Hot (Paperback)
I didn't know what to expect when I purchased this book. But what I got was a nice surprise. This book is a mixture of erotica and romance, and the mix is just right. The rich and gorgeous Jacques has been spurned by women in the past. However, he hasn't yet given up his hope that he'll meet that special someone that wants HIM and not just his money. In comes Sahara. She's lived the penniless life before and wants that big house up on the hill and the niceties that money can bring. She meets Jacques who's devastatingly gorgeous and sexy beyond belief, but he appears to have no ambition or money. What's a girl to do when what looks like the man of your dreams is penniless? This book starts off very sexy and continues throughout. Some of the sex scenes, okay, most of the sex scenes are scandalous but oh so hot! And as the passion heats up, so too does Jacques and Sahara's feelings for each other. Considering the relatively short length of this book, the author packs a lot into it. In a short time, you'll find yourself caring for the characters (and just loving Jacques), and speeding from one page to the next to see what's going to happen next, and to see if these two -- that seem made for each other, will get together in the end. The build up and suspense is well worth the read. However, I do not recommend reading this book in public. That wicked grin on your face or that glazed look in your eyes, just might give you away.

This Cajun fantasy was so hot I was almost burnt as I turned the Pages. I was done the book in just a few hours and wanted more of it to read. Sahara and Jacque were so spicy and I loved all the intimate love bondage.

WOW! That's all you can say about this book without spending page after page describing this book. Sizzling sex, a twisted plot and an exciting recipe for romance/erotica.

This was one of my all-time favorite reads. It was short, but not too short to cover all the ground needed. Sexy, hot, eye-popping, a great plot, wonderful, loveable characters - this book has everything needed to keep you glued to the pages.Keep up the great work Nikita Black. Hope there is more coming where that one was from!!

CAJUN HOT,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cajun Hot (Paperback)
THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED "CAJUN HEAT". IT WAS SO FULL OF HOT SEX MOSTLY BETWEEN SAHARA AND JACQUE EVEN THOU THEY DO HAVE A THREESOME SEX WITH HIS BROTHER QUINT BEFORE QUINT'S WIFE LISETT COMES IN ON THEM AND GOES INTO A FIT. THIS ONE IS A KEEPER. BUT BE FOREWARNED! THIS IS NOT FOR THE SQUIMMISH NOR THE FAINT OF HEART. IS SO PACKED WITH EROTIC SEX THAT IT BURNS WITH EVERY TURN OF THE PAGE. THANKS NIKITA! I RELLY ENJOYED THIS ONE SO VERY MUCH.

Hot? Mais yeah!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cajun Hot (Paperback)
Well written, erotic, and hot.Captured me from the very first scene and read it in one sitting. I hated to see it end. There's nothing like a little Cajun fanatasy to bring out the bad girl in the reader. This book was definitely hot fantasy--mais yeah!

Short, sweet, and to the point!,
This review is from: Cajun Hot (Paperback)
I rarely give any book a 5 star because usually there is customarily details and descriptions that take up pages and are not necessary to the story but I can rate this with no such regrets.First and foremost, be warned, sex is prevelant. Especially the first scene. If you're sqeamish, either skim over it or pass the read over. In the beginning, there are 'sex' scenes but they change to love scenes. No less prevelant. This is NOT simply an erotic or sexual read; it is about friendship and love. I enjoyed Jacque's character. I like possesive men (in fiction only). I think both Jacque and Sahara reacted realistically (if that's possible for fiction)and thoroughly enjoyed Sahara's response. Fiesty. Jacque wasn't too far off the mark either. All in all, I recommend this if you're into a quick romance. Go for it. It was a nice change.

A Romance Junkies Review for CAJUN HOT,
By Sandra Potterton "Avid Reader, Occasional Rev... (North Dakota, USA) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Cajun Hot (Paperback)
CAJUN HOT is a tremendously entertaining comedy of a romance. I was enthralled from page one right on through to the end. The story is hot and sexy as well and I was either fanning myself from the heat or chuckling over the antics of the characters. The general plot is pretty straightforward, but the route to get to the happy ending has some outrageous moments. The story keeps your interest and I was very disgruntled anytime I had to put the book away and do something else. Ms. Black's characters are rich and well-rounded. Sahara has some serious career goals and is not in the mood to take a detour for love; she is fun, likeable and amusing. Jacque presents himself as a laid-back, sexy Cajun, which he certainly is, but there is a lot more to him as well. The secondary characters really add to this story, both in humor and outrageousness. The sex scenes are explicit, extremely hot and contain elements of ménage, bondage and exhibitionism. I truly enjoyed CAJUN HOT and highly recommend it if you are looking for a fun, amusing and extremely sexy read!

Pleasantly Surprised by Book on Disc,
By A Customer
This review is from: Cajun Hot (Paperback)
Where was my brain when I ordered this? I just refused to believe that it was actually written on a disc. Well, when I finally got around to reading it, steam was coming out of the top of my computer. Wow! At first I wasn't too excited about having to sit at my computer to read a book, but this book hooked me right from the start. I still wish it was in book form tho, so I can carry it in my purse and read when I want, but this is definitely a keeper despite the unusual format. I am looking forward to reading The Renegade's Woman, even though it has more pages ergo sitting in front of my computer longer. Just have to wait til the family is out of the house. Love this author, and highly recommend her to those who enjoy erotica with a plot, sex with a story, and characters who engage on multi levels. Nikita allowed us into their heads and it was a great read. |
