Cajun Injector Stainless Steel Electric Smoker

This is my first smoker so its a learning experience and I can't compare it to others but this is what I have. The top door hinge was not perfect so when closed there was a small gap in the top corner, about a 1/16, I bent the hinge to make it work, no big deal. The control panel on top has been giving me troubles, not sure if its weather related as I live in Buffalo NY and using it 3 times in the garage with the outside temperature twice being in the high 20's and once in the teens. Each tinme I have initially programmed it for time and temperature per the book I've come back 15 minutes later and its flashing "ERRF", have to unplug and start again which has always worked. Again because of the outside temperature I'm not sure but the thermocouples one for the oven and one for the meat are not very accurate. I have access to calibrated equipment and have been monitoring the smoker and found that the readings are about 30 degrees off. Will have to wait until the weather warms up to figure out if the probe are really that far off. The wood shoot is an excellent feature and the stainless steel is a nice touch. With all that said I just really enjoy doing the whole experience of cooking with a smoker. Already had a really decent pulled pork and looking forward to ribs.

This is my first smoker to own. Bought it a couple of months ago. Very easy to set up and season. The electronic controller is easy to use. I sure like the way his unit is insulated so well. I have used it on days the temperature was below freezing. As to the food, all I can say is WOW! Everything that I have smoked has turned out very good. Even tried a spiral cut ham in it and it turned out really great. The side chute works really well and you do not have to open the door to add wood.
So far, I would recommend this cooker. I have not had any problems.
